Sort Indents by Last Updated (Newest to Oldest) in the Transporter application

You can now quickly spot the most recent indents! A new sorting option has been added to the Transporter Portal, letting you sort indents by last updated time: from newest to oldest. 

How It Works: 

  • Use the "Recent Updated" toggle on the Web or Mobile portal. 
  • This sorts indents in descending order of the last update. 
  • Only indents updated in the last 15 days will be shown. 
  • This feature helps you prioritise and act faster on new or recently modified requests. 


Enhanced Depot Filter View & Improved Depot Selection

We’ve improved how depots appear and can be selected on the Transporter mobile app. Users can now view full depot names and scroll through the entire depot list more easily. 

 

How It Works: 

  • The full name of each depot is now displayed in the depot filter selection. 
  • All depots (Associated and Other) are now shown in a single scrollable list, making it easier to view and switch between depots. 
  • This enhancement ensures better visibility and reduces confusion during depot selection. 
  • Multi-depot selection will now be more intuitive with the improved layout. 
  • Say goodbye to truncated depot names, no more guessing which depot you’re selecting! 


ETA from Courier Partners Now Visible in Pando UI

Platforms: Shipper Web App, Consignee Mobile App 

Description: 

  • Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) provided by Courier Service Providers (CSPs) is now visible directly in the shipper portal 
  • This enhancement ensures frontline users and shipment stakeholders can access accurate delivery estimates and make better decisions based on real-time updates. 

Why This Matters: 

  • Enables proactive communication with customers and stakeholders. 
  • Reduces dependency on manual follow-ups for delivery updates. 
  • Supports faster decision-making for time-sensitive indents. 


Enabling transporter permission at the transporter role level in the profile page 

This release streamlines user onboarding and improves access control by automatically enabling the Transporter role-level permission for newly created users and granting full module access to Admin users by default. The enhancement reduces manual setup effort, reduces dependency on backend activation and ensures consistency across user roles. 

Key Enhancements 

    Full Access for Admin Users by Default 

  • Admin users will automatically have access to all modules, 
  • No manual configuration is needed post-user creation. 

    Role-Based Permission Management in Transporter Profile 

  • Permissions are now displayed per role in the Transporter Profile page. 
  • Admin users will have all permissions enabled. 
  • Specific permissions for other transporter roles can be manually configured as needed. 
  • Transporter Admin can manage these settings per user. 

    No Impact on Existing Users 

  • All current user permissions will remain unchanged. 
  • Change only affects new users going forward to ensure backwards compatibility. 


Indent list page performance improvements

  • We've significantly enhanced the performance of the Indent page by optimising backend queries. These improvements reduce page load time and ensure faster and smoother interactions for users. 
  • Users will now experience quicker response times and improved efficiency while performing actions.
