Re-indent UI changes

Category: Manage module

Availability: All Customers
Keeping in line with customer requests and emerging demands, the Re-indent functionality under Indent Management has been enhanced. While the core features have been retained, their design has been refreshed to aid better usability. In addition to a UI refresh, the following enhancements have been introduced:
  • Changes on the Shipper application

    • Revamped Re-indents section:
The RFQ section under Re-indents has now been moved from the earlier pop-up to a new slider overlay. The new slider design helps make it easier to switch between multiple Indents. In the RFQ section, Shippers can select Transporters of their choice and send them an RFQ with all the requisite details filled in place.

    • Introduction of RFQ configuration at an Admin level:
Account admins on the Shipper side can now define how bid values can be decremented by the Transporter. Under the Admin Settings for Depots, Admin and Support Admin users can now find ‘REQUEST FOR QUOTE’ settings. Here, a user can define by how a transporter reduces the quote on a bid. The shipper can select between one of two options— By Cost and By Percentage. They can choose one of these and set the value by how much a transporter can reduce costs.

  • Changes on the Transporter application

    • Quote Requested:
All Transporters who’ve been sent an RFQ for a lane will now be able to find the same on their indents with a “Quote Requested” button enabled. Clicking this button will open a slider where the transporter can get all the details required to evaluate the request. This includes the route, dimensions, minimum quantity, and remarks from the Shipper for the nature of the request and specific instructions to be followed while handling the request. The transporter can also respond to this request with remarks of their own while accepting or sending the quote. This “Quote requested” will turn up on both Re-Indent RFQs and Open RFQ Indents.

Bid Decrement changes:
The bid decrement criteria configured under Admin Settings directly determines how low a bid can be placed compared to the original bid. Based on the configuration under the Shipper’s settings, the transporter will be able reduce the bid prices. For example, if the configuration is set as ‘By Cost’ and ‘300’, then a transporter can only reduce the bid placed by 300 minimum. If the initial bid amount was 10000, then Pando will not allow the bid to be lower than 300. When a transporter tries to enter a lower value, the submit button will be disabled and will continue to remain the same until the right value is added.

2. Start and End unload to be introduced at destination for unloading

Category: Manage module

Availability: All

With this New feature, 'Start Load' and 'End Load' are captured at destination level for primary, vendor and return movement. This helps determine turnaround time for Warehouses who's KPI depend on unloading performance and also need to ensure that docks don't get clogged on incoming shipments. Unloading can happen parallelly in two gates and we won’t restrict it from updating users. By default, we will populate the reached time as unloading start time and release time as unloading end time and users can change it.

The sequence of events: ‘Reported’ → ' Start Unload' → ‘End Unload’ → 'Released'
