Vendor Confirmation At Source 



DO release  A Delivery Order is defined as a document issued by a shipper to the vendor. The vendor will be in charge of carrying out the haulage of the order. 
Vendor Accepted 

When the request for shipment is accepted by the vendor and the responsibility for transporting the same is accepted by them.

There are several types of Vendors:

  • Freight Forwarder
  • Drayage Partner
  • Transporter (Predominantly truckers)
Vehicle Assigment at Source When the vendor accepts the assignment and assigns a Vehicle for the same. The type of Vehicle that the vendor has to assign is agreed upon in prior and will have to be uploaded to the Vehicle Master and can be picked up from the dropdown when creating a shipment.
Container Stuffed
Empty Container Pick up Empty container pickup is when a driver picks up a container from the yard to be dropped off at the shipper's location for loading. 
Vehicle Reached When the vehicle has arrived from the yard to the shipper's location for commencing loading.
Container Stuffing When the Container is being filled with the material and being readied for handoff to the broker.
Customs Filing When the container has been handed off to the Customs broker for carrying out customs compliance check before dispatch
Container Sealing Post completion of customs formalities, the container is sealed and readied for transport to the port.

Cargo DispatchedThe cargo has now been dispatched from the Shipper's location to the port
Container Dispatched The sealed container has now been dispatched from the Shipper's location to the port
HBL/HAWB Issued
HAWB Issued House Airway Bill is a legal document that mentions details about the goods that are being shipped by an international air courier with information on shipment, what does it contain, specification of the goods, etc.
HBL Issued A house bill of lading (HBL) is a document issued by a freight forwarder to a shipper to acknowledge receipt of their items for shipment. In other words, it's a receipt for the goods.
RR Issued Railway Receipt (RR) is a document issued by the Railline when goods meant for transportation are handed over by the consigner to the rail carrier. This varies from country to country based on the type of rail carrier.
Delivered at DestinationDelivered at Destination
The sealed container has now been dispatched from the Shipper's location to the port from where the cargo will be shipped.

CFS Stuffing 

CFS Container storage CFS stands for Container Freight Station and refers to a warehouse where cargo that belongs to various exporters or importers is consolidated or deconsolidated before being exported or imported. 
CFS Container stuffing - LCL case In this stage, the container is in the process of being filled with all materials that have been brought together under LCL. All LCL shipments bound to the same destination are consolidated under a single container before they can be loaded onto the ocean liner.
Draft MBL IssuedDraft MBL/SI  issue A draft of the Master Bill of Lading (MBL) is shared by the by the shipping line to the shipper/vendor. This covers the relationship between the Shipping line and the vendor during the Ocean leg.
Draft AWB Issued Draft AWB issue A draft of the Airway Bill (AWB) is provided by the airline to the shipper/vendor. This document accompanies goods shipped by an international air courier to provide information about the shipment & allow it's tracking. It covers the relationship between the airline and the vendor during Air leg.

Export Customs Filed 

Filed and Customs Cleared - POLThe custom formalities have been filed and received at the Port of Loading. 
Customs Payment Completed Payment of duties for customs clearance at the port of Loading have been completed.

Line Haulage
Shipment PlanVessel/ Airline schedule finalised The schedule of the vessel or airline have been finalized and the shipment is ready for its ocean/air leg.
Port of loading departure
Vessel Sailed The vessel carrying the shipment has sailed
Flight Departed The flight carrying the shipment has departed
MBL issuedThe draft MBL which was provided by the liner will be approved and issued to the shipper/vendor by the shipping liner.
AWB IssuedThe draft AWB which was provided by the airline will be approved and issued to the vendor/shipper.
Shipment Document Transfer to ConsigneeThe document carrying all completed customs formalities and bill of lading is transferred to the consignee. 
CAN to Destination Notifying PartyA notification informing the container's imminent arrival at the destination port is sent to all parties specified in the Bill of lading. This is usually the shipper, the vendor (Freight Forwarder and the drayage partners), and the consignee. The information for the same is received from the ocean liner or the airliner through an API call to Pando.
